HHS Publishes Strategy for COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution

HHS, in collaboration with the Department of Defense and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, has released documentation outlining the federal government’s strategy for the delivery of a COVID-19 vaccine to the American public. These documents provide guidance regarding the planning, distribution, administration, and monitoring of the nation’s COVID-19 vaccination response. Included in this documentation is an interim playbook for state, tribal, territorial, and local public health programs on how to plan and implement a COVID-19 vaccination response within their respective jurisdictions.
